StudentsStudents en pointe

The Jenny Brennan School of Dance was established in 2001 and trains students of all ages and abilities in ballet, pointe, tap, modern and jazz, musical theatre and contemporary. It was officially opened in 2002.

The School offers examinations with the Royal Academy of Dance (ballet) and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (modern and tap). To date we have a 100% success rate! All teachers are fully qualified and registered with the RAD and ISTD. We also hold summer schools as well as producing our own shows.

Classes at the Jenny Brennan School of Dance are taught to the highest standard. Children gain confidence and self assurance throughout the varying classes and develop musicality, friendships, fun and an overall enjoyment of dance. Whether you want to dance once a week or want to take dance to the next level, we can guide you in the right direction. The school has helped many students go on to pursue a successful career in dance and continues to encourage students with the potential to do so.

Students with the required ability are encouraged to audition for associate and/or full-time places with other schools and companies, for example Arts Educational School (Tring), Elmhurst School of Dance, The Hammond School, Laine Theatre Arts, The London Studio Centre, Northern Ballet School, The Royal Ballet School, and The Urdang Academy. Students can also take part in festivals and competitions, and perform with amateur dance companies, local theatre companies and at charity events.
